Responsibilities
Cleanse, standardize, and validate existing formulation and ingredient data
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data discrepancies or errors
Verify formulation calculations, ingredient specifications, and compliance rules
Prepare and upload data into new cosmetic formulation software
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all migrated data
Map data fields to new system requirements
Document data processes, testing results, and system issues
Collaborate with formulators, regulatory, and IT teams as needed
Maintain data integrity and confidentiality throughout the migration process
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biology or a related scientific field
Experience in data cleansing, data entry, or data migration projects
Familiarity with cosmetic regulations, formulation, ingredients, or cosmetic R&D data
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or similar) and database systems
Preferred
Experience with cosmetic formulation software (e.g., formulation management systems, PLM, or LIMS or Cosmetri)
Ability to follow structured procedures and document work clearly
Basic understanding of software testing methodologies
Experience working in cosmetics, personal care, or related industries
