Responsibilities
Preparing and reviewing estimates for electrical and low voltage construction projects
Performing quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications, and design documents
Assisting with pricing labor, materials, equipment, and subcontracted work
Requesting and evaluating vendor and supplier quotes
Supporting design-build and negotiated work, not just hard bid projects
Working closely with project management and field teams to understand real-world costs
Participating in post-bid reviews and lessons learned to improve future estimates
Qualification
Required
Experience in electrical construction, estimating, project coordination, or a related role
Interest in electrical and low voltage systems
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
Comfortable working with numbers, schedules, and deadlines
Proficiency with Excel and willingness to learn estimating software
Collaborative, proactive, and eager to develop technically
