Structural Technician II
DPP is seeking a Structural Technician II for an opportunity in Hagerstown, Maryland. The role involves assembling major structures and performing minor part-fitting operations, as well as aligning parts and measuring dimensions to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities
Assemble and/or create major assembly structures and minor part-fitting operations such as filing, sawing, burring, trimming, framing, riveting, drilling and reaming
Align parts on jigs and aerospace vehicles using templates and fixtures, and measure parts with micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions
Modify incomplete and complete assemblies and incorporate the changes into the structure
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 2 or more years of relevant experience
Must have/own tools in good working order
Basic understanding of applicable technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications; ability to complete installations per technical drawings while maintaining edge distance and pitch
Experience with structure assembly, minor part fitting techniques, and repair and refinishing such as airframe corrosion removal, as applicable
Ability to install various fasteners such as rivets and hi-locks
Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US security clearance
Preferred
Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, NASA or US Military
Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance may be required
