Engineering Intern
Carpenter Technology Corporation is seeking a Summer 2026 Engineering Intern to join their Dynamet Florida Laboratory. The intern will support various tasks related to laboratory consumables management, project tracking, and collaboration across departments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
Implement a system to control Laboratory consumables
Create unique part numbers (barcodes or not), set defined reorder points (min/max levels) and track usage
Starting with detailed spreadsheets tracking item, part #, supplier, location, quantity used, date ordered, and ROP
Create defined storage locations for each item with identifications in the cabinets
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program majoring in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Quality Management or related field
Candidates must be detail-oriented and have excellent organizational skills
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Willing and able to work on-site at our Clearwater, FL location
Applicants MUST be US Citizens or Green Card Holders due to Carpenter's government contracts
