Richard Lombart Consulting & The Executive Way is seeking a Senior HR Generalist for North America & Canada who is a French speaker. This role involves supporting a decentralized network of technical service sites across the US and Canada, acting as a hands-on HR partner for local managers and teams.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Act as the HR point of contact for employees and managers across US and Canadian sites
Support French-speaking laboratories in Canada using a professional working level of French
Handle employee relations, HR operations, compliance, and day-to-day HR support
Step in to support sites on short notice when needed (remote or on-site)
Contribute to training, performance management, engagement, and integration initiatives
Participate in HR projects linked to growth, acquisitions, and regional structuring
Work with strong regional autonomy while reporting to North America HR leadership

Required

Professional level in French required
Flexible location – US or Canada (preference: Michigan / Detroit area)
Regional travel
5-8 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner
Hands-on exposure to US employment law and solid understanding of Canadian employment regulations
Experience in multi-site or decentralized organizations
Professional level in French (spoken & written) — sufficient for business communication with Canadian teams and French HQ
Strong English required
Willingness to travel across the region
