The Judge Group is seeking an experienced Enterprise Brand Naming Specialist to develop and drive a scalable, intuitive naming system for a large healthcare organization. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to evaluate naming needs and guide teams toward strategic alignment on final selections.

Responsibilities

Educate the organization on the importance and business value of a clear, intuitive naming framework
Triage and contextualize naming requests within broader brand and communication workstreams, including value proposition development
Own end‑to‑end name development, including process best practices, workflows, and recommendation frameworks
Facilitate stakeholder alignment, gathering inputs, managing expectations, and ensuring cross‑functional clarity at each stage
Define naming criteria to guide exploration, creative development, and evaluation; lead tissue‑sessions and alignment checkpoints
Conduct competitive audits to understand naming dynamics within the market landscape
Generate high‑quality, legally viable names that meet criteria, iterating as needed
Identify when external agency support is required and partner with internal teams to engage appropriately
Develop compelling presentations to socialize naming directions, shortlist recommendations, and prepare for legal/validation review
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support legal screening, linguistic checks, and validation research to assess trademark and association risks
Manage final alignment with key decision‑makers to confirm and finalize name selection

Required

Experience as a Brand Naming Specialist or similar role
Ability to develop and drive a scalable, intuitive naming system
Experience working with brand, marketing, communications, and product stakeholders
Strong understanding of naming needs and generating legally viable names
Ability to educate the organization on the importance of a clear naming framework
Experience in triaging and contextualizing naming requests
Ability to own end-to-end name development including process best practices and workflows
Experience facilitating stakeholder alignment and managing expectations
Ability to define naming criteria and lead alignment checkpoints
