Biologics Engineering: Protein Engineering & Novel Modalities Intern
AstraZeneca is seeking undergraduate junior and senior level students for a 12-week internship role in Protein Engineering and Novel Modalities. The role involves generating and purifying novel modalities, verifying QC fidelity, and evaluating functional performance in relevant therapeutic models.

Qualification
Required
Undergraduate junior and senior level students majoring in Chemical Engineering, Biomolecular Engineering, Bioengineering or a related discipline
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026
Molecular biology experience, in particular cloning, protein purification, and protein characterization is required
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 5 days per week
US Work Authorization is required at time of application
This role will not be providing CPT support
Preferred
Antibody engineering experience is a plus
