Responsibilities
Manages operations, equipment and personnel assigned to the location
Supervises all location employees
Assists the Operations Manager in the development of annual budgets and capital expenditures
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all equipment and facilities
Maintains proper records for equipment and facilities
Responsible for inventory control and keeping inventory in proper condition
Follows the company’s pricing policies on all merchandise and services
Keeps up to date on all product knowledge and makes proper recommendations to patrons and prospects
Responsible for the adherence of the company credit and collects for sales of all assigned products
Ensures all new patrons and prospects receive a company credit application
Develops a basic comprehension of Agri-Finance program and knows the proper channels to utilize in order to have the program explained to patrons and prospects
Conducts employee training and communication meetings with employees
Responsible for meeting all company, local, state and federal safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply
Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Normally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
Normally requires a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Ability to work extended hours
Ability to travel independently and overnight
Continuously exposed or required to extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, etc.)
Continuously exposed or required to noisy conditions
Working conditions may include dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards with appropriate safety measures
May be required to work at varying heights
Confined spaces
