Responsibilities
Design and refine low-level firewall and segmentation implementations based on an existing high-level security architecture
Validate and improve current Palo Alto designs across cloud, virtual, and physical environments
Work extensively with Palo Alto Prisma (Cloud, Access, Browser), VM-Series, Panorama, and Strata Cloud Manager (SCM)
Support both cloud and on-prem firewall architectures (AWS / Azure exposure required)
Collaborate cross-functionally with security, network, and infrastructure teams to deliver production-ready solutions
Work directly at the CLI / command-line level, including scripting related to SCM and firewall operations
Contribute to network security design involving BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, LACP, and virtualization concepts

Validate and improve current Palo Alto designs across cloud, virtual, and physical environments

Very senior Palo Alto experience (architect-level, not just operations)
Strong hands-on knowledge of Panorama and SCM (required)
Deep understanding of virtualization and cloud security
Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure (expert-level not required)
Ability to script and troubleshoot at the command line (Bash/CLI)
Solid networking fundamentals (routing, segmentation, overlays)
Practical experience > certifications
Preferred
certifications are nice to have, not required
