Responsibilities

Write production code across our stack (React, React Native, Electron, Ruby, Postgres, Java)
Design and maintain APIs that talk to hardware such as POS terminals, RFID scanners, receipt printers, and card readers
Debug problems across the full stack
Write tests, review code, and maintain high engineering standards
Install and configure systems at ski resorts
Integrate with existing resort infrastructure
Deploy technology in harsh mountain environments
Train resort staff
Troubleshoot issues on-site and remotely
Build long-term customer relationships
Observe how software performs in the field
Bring back insights that influence product decisions
Advocate for customers

Qualification

Required

3 to 5 years of software engineering experience
Full-stack experience
Strong SQL and relational database fundamentals
Git experience beyond basic commits and pushes
Ability to write clean, testable, maintainable code
Strong communication skills with non-technical users
Comfortable working independently in ambiguous environments
Willing to relocate to Grand County, Colorado. We can be flexible on timing

Preferred

Payment processing experience
Hardware integration experience
Electron or desktop application experience
React Native or mobile development experience
Linux system administration
Android deployment and management
DevOps experience
