Front Desk/Office Assistant

Ehrenkranz Partners LP is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant for a full-time, on-site position in New York City. The role involves greeting visitors, managing the central pantry, and performing various administrative duties while supporting the daily operations of the firm.

Responsibilities

Provide consistent front desk coverage during business hours
Greet and assist clients, visitors, candidates, and vendors in a professional and welcoming manner
Notify appropriate staff of arrivals
Answer, screen, and route incoming calls, emails, and general inquiries
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and common areas
Monitor daily office flow and flag issues or needs as appropriate
Prepare conference rooms for meetings
Set up water, coffee, and light refreshments for meetings as needed
Provide basic, on-the-spot meeting support and escalate technical issues as needed
Receive, and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries
Assist with basic administrative tasks and office organization
Assist with routine office supply ordering and restocking
Manage vendors, facilities staff, building engineers, custodial workers, etc
Manage off-site inventory of books and records
Support routine office upkeep, including shared spaces, kitchen areas, and conference rooms
Assist with routine tasks such as replacing printer toner, water filters, and office supplies
Report office, IT, or building issues to appropriate internal or external contacts
Support office organization projects as assigned

Required

1–3 years of experience in an office, customer service, or similar role
Proficient with Microsoft Office, video conferencing systems (Teams/Zoom)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional demeanor and attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and organized
Comfortable learning new systems and following established processes
Ability to multitask, stay organized, and manage priorities effectively
Detail oriented, highly motivated and proactive
On occasion, some light lifting is needed
Ad hoc projects as needed

Preferred

Undergraduate degree is preferred but not required
