Responsibilities
Own feature delivery end-to-end: API design, backend implementation, frontend UI, testing, and deployment readiness
Build and maintain backend services primarily in Python (preferably Django)
Develop responsive frontend experiences using TypeScript and React
Write and maintain automated tests and ensure production-quality releases
Groom technical tickets, improve specifications, and drive execution with high accountability
Troubleshoot bugs and support production systems with a customer-impact mindset
Collaborate with an India-based engineering team as a senior peer (no people management)
Contribute to technical direction and system improvements as the product scales
Occasionally support third-party integrations and AI-adjacent features (not the core focus)
Qualification
Required
Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
Professional full stack experience shipping features daily in production environments
Strong hands-on experience with Python, TypeScript, and React
Experience building backend APIs and connecting frontend-to-backend workflows
Comfortable owning features through build, release, and post-release support/bug fixing
Must be based in NYC (no visa sponsorship; relocation must be self-funded)
Preferred
Django experience
Experience working in small, high-ownership teams with fast iteration cycles
Experience integrating third-party services (e.g., email tools, LLM tools)
Prior B2B SaaS experience
