Litigation Legal Assistant
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation
Draft, edit, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, court dates, and trial schedules
Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
Coordinate discovery, including document management, subpoenas, and production
Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors
Assist with trial preparation, exhibits, and binders
Track billable time and assist with billing as needed
Qualification
Required
Several years of litigation legal assistant experience required
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and legal document management systems
Professional demeanor and reliability in an in-office environment
Preferred
Experience outside of personal injury and insurance defense is strongly preferred
