Senior LevelUnited Pharma is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer / Administrator (MES) to support a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing operation. This role involves acting as the technical subject-matter expert for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and requires hands-on administration and support for IT infrastructure in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities
Provide hands-on administration and support for MES hardware and software environments
Manage and maintain Cisco UCS compute infrastructure
Administer VMware -based virtualized environments
Support enterprise network and directory services, including Active Directory
Manage and support application delivery platforms such as Citrix
Design, implement, and maintain Backup and Disaster Recovery (BDR) solutions
Ensure high system availability, data integrity, and minimal downtime
Support continuous 24/7 manufacturing operations in a regulated GxP setting
Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as a Systems Engineer / Administrator supporting MES or manufacturing IT systems
Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco UCS
Strong hands-on expertise with VMware
Strong hands-on expertise with Active Directory
Strong hands-on expertise with Citrix
Demonstrated experience implementing and supporting backup and disaster recovery solutions
Ability to support high-availability, mission-critical systems in a 24/7 operational environment
Prior experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industries is highly preferred
