Responsibilities

Design, install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database servers
Implement and manage Oracle RAC
Perform advanced SQL, PL/SQL, and instance-level tuning using AWR, ADDM, and ASH reports to optimize performance
Write and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash/KornShell) or Python to automate routine DBA tasks, backups, and monitoring
Formulate and execute backup/recovery strategies using RMAN (Recovery Manager)
Provide on-call support for critical production issues, including root cause analysis (RCA)
