Responsibilities
Represent survivors in all phases of civil litigation, from case evaluation through trial or resolution
Conduct client interviews and maintain ongoing, compassionate communication
Perform factual investigations, legal research, and case analysis
Draft pleadings, motions, and persuasive legal briefs
Manage discovery, including depositions and mediations
Appear in court and participate in hearings and oral arguments
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, investigators, and leadership
Independently manage a substantial caseload with competing deadlines
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of civil litigation experience
Experience handling depositions, court appearances, oral arguments, and mediations
Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skills
Ability to manage complex cases in a fast-paced environment
Licensed to practice law in California
Preferred
Experience working with trauma survivors or vulnerable populations
