Roster Maintenance and Operations Intern
Capitol Broadcasting Company is a diversified communications company, and they are seeking Roster Maintenance and Operations Interns. Interns will be responsible for reviewing player agreements, updating team rosters, and assisting with various league operations to gain valuable experience in the sports industry.

Responsibilities
Interns have contact with their assigned CPL teams on a daily basis (including weekends) to clear any roster moves each team wants to make
Must maintain an accurate, shared spreadsheet of all active and released players throughout the season, as well was update league rosters online
Must send out the official rosters each day after the roster deadline
Must clear players for both CPL and NCAA Eligibility rules as directed by league office staff
Outside of roster control, interns will be asked to help with other daily duties around the league office
Must be available to work All-Star event (travel/hotel/meals provided) July 6-7 in Florence, S.C
Qualification
Required
Current college student or recent graduate with education focused on Sports Management, Communications, Operations Management, or similar
Strong computer skills
A firm understanding of baseball is required
Candidate must be able to work the full season (May 28-August 10), including holidays and some light weekend work (a couple of hours typically)
Accommodations in Holly Springs, N.C. (or neighboring area) for the summer
Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs
