Responsibilities
Work together with a team of material handlers and manufacturing technicians to supply automation manufacturing cells with all the materials and components needed for continuous production
Communicate effectively with manufacturing technicians and warehouse operators to meet the needs of individual manufacturing cells
Timely and accurately stage materials and components in accordance with the production schedule
Fill trays with parts and components from pallets
Performs other duties as required
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to lift and transfer loads up to 30 lbs
Must be able to stand and bend up to 8 hours a day
Required to lift above shoulder frequently and below waist occasionally
Preferred
0 -2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment in Distribution, Receiving, or Manufacturing Support environment
Experience working in the medical device industry
Self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment
Experience in a start-up production environment is a plus
Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation, communicate, and write
Ability to understand and follow standard operational procedures and follow written and oral instructions with minimal supervision
Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and other employees
Basic math and arithmetic skills
Strong critical thinking and attention to detail
Able to work effectively with a team environment
Able to perform tasks with accuracy and reliability
Must be familiar with ergonomic lifting techniques
