Responsibilities

Develop and execute an effective sales plan tailored to Biotech and Biopharma accounts to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals
Identify, target, and grow relationships with key decision-makers at biotech and biopharma companies in the region
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction
Present and promote Novogene's NGS services, showcasing how they address customer challenges and needs
Stay informed on the latest developments in NGS, genomics, and related fields to effectively communicate technical and scientific value propositions
Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand market presence and identify new opportunities
Accurately document all client interactions, opportunities, and sales activities in Salesforce.com
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (scientific, technical, and operations) to ensure timely delivery of services and resolutions to client inquiries
Conduct up to 25% overnight travel to meet with clients and attend regional events

Qualification

Required

Candidates must have some sales experience with a strong scientific background in genetics, biology, and have NGS experience
Minimum BS degree in life sciences related fields
Working knowledge of NGS, genomics, and/or molecular biology
Prior sales or account management experience in biotech or biopharma
Independent, self-motivated, and goal-oriented professional with excellent organizational skills

Preferred

Advanced degrees preferred
Established network and deep understanding of the biotech and biopharma industry in the Boston Region
Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
