Responsibilities
Cloud & Platform Architecture
Design AWS-based cloud and hybrid architectures (AWS + On-Prem / OpenShift)
Define reference architectures for microservices, legacy modernization, and event-driven systems
Architect multi-account AWS strategy (Landing Zone, Control Tower, Organizations)
Lead application modernization including refactoring IBM WebSphere workloads to containerized platforms
Define architecture standards for compute, storage, networking, and security
Embed SRE principles (SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets) into platform and application design
Architect for high availability, fault tolerance, auto-healing, and resilience
Lead capacity planning, performance engineering, and chaos testing strategies
Drive reduction in MTTR, alert fatigue, and operational toil
Participate in and guide incident management, RCA, and postmortems
Design and standardize observability frameworks across logs, metrics, traces, and events
Qualification
Required
15+ years overall IT experience
5+ years in Cloud Architecture & SRE-led design
Design AWS-based cloud and hybrid architectures (AWS + On-Prem / OpenShift)
Define reference architectures for microservices, legacy modernization, and event-driven systems
Architect multi-account AWS strategy (Landing Zone, Control Tower, Organizations)
Lead application modernization including refactoring IBM WebSphere workloads to containerized platforms
Define architecture standards for compute, storage, networking, and security

Enable distributed tracing across microservices and legacy middleware (WebSphere)
Establish observability as a platform capability, not tool-centric
