Responsibilities
Lead design, implementation, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using modern tools and DevOps best practices
Architect and maintain scalable, resilient, cloud‑based infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards using tools like Terraform
Enhance observability, monitoring, and alerting systems to improve reliability and reduce operational toil
Partner with Dev, SRE, Architecture, and QA teams to support feature delivery, performance, and system stability
Drive automation across build, deployment, configuration, and environment management workflows
Evaluate emerging tools, patterns, and practices to keep AGS on the cutting edge of DevOps maturity
Provide mentorship and technical leadership to DevOps engineers and cross‑functional partners
Support production environments, including on‑call participation as necessary
Qualification
Required
8+ years of DevOps experience in a major tech organization or large‑scale enterprise environment
Deep expertise in: Cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred)
CI/CD tooling such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, Jenkins
Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Containerization & orchestration (Docker & Kubernetes)
Solid understanding of microservices architectures, networking, load balancing, and security
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
Preferred
Experience with: Observability tools (New Relic, ELK, Splunk)
Secrets management (Vault)
Additional automation tools (Chef, Argo, SonarQube)
Experience using Helm as part of Kubernetes‑based deployments (chart management, values files, upgrades)
Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio)
Familiarity with enterprise release processes and complex multi‑environment deployments
