Intern- Health Analytics Data Governance
Carilion Clinic is seeking an Intern for their Health Analytics department to assist with waste reduction and efficiency program planning. The Intern will manage data, prepare reports, and participate in projects to benefit the healthcare system.

Responsibilities
Interacts with individuals at all levels of the organization as necessary, using whatever communication means are needed (e.g. e-mail, phone calls, face to face meetings)
Manages data and information, and prepares reports and/or project summaries
Serves and participates on work teams as assigned
Actively participates in staff and committee meetings as assigned
Completes a project designed to benefit the healthcare system
Exercises technical abilities with respective software to support project and/or operational tasks
Proactively seeks out duties and responsibilities and appropriately prioritizes assignments
Meets with Manager/Mentor on a regular basis to discuss completed items, projects in progress and potential projects
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent 8 years experience required
Proficient computer and keyboard skills
Must be able to solve simple mathematical and logistical problems in the work environment
Must be able to work efficiently, manage time wisely, and follow policy and procedures with minimal supervision
Must have good interpersonal, communication, and listening skills
Preferred
Experience utilizing Energy Star Portfolio Manager
Experience With Food Waste Reduction And/or Donation Programs
