Senior Application Engineer CSharp SQL Server

Responsibilities
50% Write and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, SSIS Packages in SQL Server 2019
50% Write and maintain C# and ASP.NET MVC applications using .NET Framework
Self-starter, motivated, strong work ethic
Strong problem solving skills, initiative, and innovation
Strong experience writing efficient SQL and stored procedures
Ability to troubleshoot and tune performance of existing stored procedures
Strong Object Oriented Programming experience in C# required
Must be able to work well in a fast paced multi-tasking team environment
Ability to accomplish simple, moderate, and complex programming tasks without assistance
Ability to meet fixed deadlines
Must be able to learn quickly, working with other developers on the team requiring a high degree of analytical and technical skill
Mentor other programmers in the group
Write technical specs for simple, moderate and complex programming assignments
Write code to HCA standards
Thoroughly unit test own development
Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems in existing code
Able to build strong relationships and communicate with technical staff and business analysts
Look for ways to improve existing applications and processes
Actively participate in meetings

Required
Experience reading, writing and supporting large enterprise-complexity databases with deep and diverse experience with views, tables, UDFs, and complex stored procedures, various data types, index tuning, error-handling, and transaction-handling
At least some exposure to one or more advanced concepts such as XML from SQL or CLR functions
