InternU.S. Legend Cars International is the manufacturer of the world-famous Legend Car and Bandolero race cars, and they are seeking a communications intern for the Summer and Fall of 2026. The intern will assist the communications manager in developing ideas to promote and share stories, while gaining experience in writing and social media content creation.

Responsibilities
Develop ideas for social media posts that conform to USLCI/INEX and Speedway Motorsports Inc. standards
Write select feature stories
Conduct interviews for a weekly featured driver segment, highlighting one of INEX’s Legend Car or Bandolero drivers
Travel and assist with camera and video documentation and content creation of the Cook Out Summer Shootout, Thursday Thunder, Bandolero Championship Nationals, Legend Car Dirt Championship Nationals, Road Course World Finals and Legend Car Asphalt Championship Nationals
Scan, archive, and organize old photographs and magazines
Qualification
Required
Strong story and feature writing and copyediting skills
Exceptional social media ethics
Working knowledge of digital camera preferred
Short form video and photo editing skills
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Proficient oral, written, and digital communication skills
Highly motivated and possesses the ability to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to learn
Required to be present at the U.S. Legend Cars International offices in Harrisburg, North Carolina a minimum of 10 hours a week
Required work and travel to Cook Out Summer Shootout, Thursday Thunder, Bandolero Championship Nationals, Legend Car Dirt Championship Nationals, Road Course World Finals and Legend Car Asphalt Championship Nationals
