They are currently hiring a Sales Intern for their Richmond, VA office, where the intern will support a designated production team, gain hands-on experience with licensed agents, and contribute to meaningful sales activities.

Responsibilities
Assist licensed agent(s) with lead generation and client communications
Analyze customer needs and local market trends to help identify sales opportunities and contribute to targeted outreach efforts
Work closely with sales, service, and operations teams to deliver positive customer experiences and support overall agency goals
Participate in training sessions on insurance fundamentals, sales strategies, compliance standards, and product knowledge
Maintain accurate and organized records in the agency’s CRM systems
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a BA/BS degree or Master's program (ideally with a focus in Business, Marketing, Communication, Entrepreneurship, Professional Sales or a related field)
Strong understanding of basic sales principles
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and Outlook)
Willingness to travel across the Scott Insurance footprint
