Review system designs and assess data flows
Perform threat modeling and identify security risks
Ensure security controls are built into the platform and aligned with Federal Reserve standards
Qualification
Required
Threat Modeling Experience
Strong experience of cloud environments, especially AWS (Amazon Web Services)
Communication and Collaboration Skills
Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks, especially NIST 800-53, which the Federal Reserve uses
Experience working with large data sets, data lakes, or data mesh environments
Understanding of how to secure data ingestion processes (how data enters the system)
Knowledge of data governance and data protection best practices
Prior experience in cloud security architecture design and review
Strong understanding of information security principles
Candidates must be U.S. citizens
Preferred
Experience with tools like Databricks, Informatica, or Snowflake is a plus, but not required
Scripting or automation skills are not needed, as this is not an engineering role
