Responsibilities
Work with all underwriting staff company wide
Work with all departments to evolve processes and procedures
Perform second level review as appropriate
Review updates by FNMA and Investor guidelines as needed
New loan program implementation and working with other members of management for loan product success
Training of underwriting and operations staff as needed
Maintain SLA's for condo reviews for all products
Qualification
Required
Current residential underwriting mortgage experience with a minimum of 5 years in the mortgage industry with substantial emphasis on underwriting and credit analysis
Thorough FNMA and FHLMC knowledge
Jumbo and Non QM is an additional benefit
FHA and VA background is a plus
3+ years of previous Account Management experience working wholesale and various mortgage lending products
Must have thorough knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and NON QM corresponding systems
Relationship building internally and externally, to learn process and procedure policies, with the ability to teach and educate these practices to customers
Ability to meet production, quality, and service standards
Experience with in-depth analytics and problem solving, the ability to think strategically while being detail and execution-oriented
Thorough knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and NON QM corresponding systems
Experience with in-depth analytics and problem solving
Preferred
FNMA and Non QM Experience a plus
Lending QB software experience
