Responsibilities

Review applications for permits and leases for Lake Erie access and erosion control projects including detailed construction/engineering plans and specifications
Perform site visits to assess site conditions and inspect coastal structures and coastal restorations
Provide guidance to Lake Erie coastal property owners and lake-front communities related to lake access, erosion mitigation, and best management practices
Perform education and outreach to community officials, technical professionals, and residents regarding coastal hazards, nature-based shorelines, and coastal management concepts

Required

Engineering degree from recognized school or college which has been accredited by accreditation board for engineering & technology
valid certificate as Engineer-In-Training issued by State Licensing Board
1 yr. engineering related experience
