Responsibilities

Develop retail strategies to maximize placement of company-owned franchises across Walmart and Sam’s Club within licensed consumer product categories (excluding core toy products)
Create and deliver compelling brand pitch materials and presentations, including entertainment-focused presentations, while building strong relationships with key retail merchants
Lead coordination of retail marketing and media campaigns for cross-category programs, partnering with internal teams and external agencies
Collaborate with category leads, licensees, and franchise teams to support sell-in of IP programs and coordinate secured cross-category retail space and pallets
Proactively communicate retail updates, timelines, and program opportunities to internal and external stakeholders
Partner with commercial sales teams to align cross-category brand pitches, including participation in Joint Business Planning
Maintain a strong understanding of retailer corporate strategies and buying behaviors to identify white-space opportunities and develop franchise-driven solutions
Analyze retail trends and consumer shopping behaviors to stay ahead of industry and marketplace changes
Travel approximately 10% as needed

Required

5+ years of experience in Retail Development, Franchise Development, Consumer Products, or managing top U.S. retail accounts; experience with Walmart and Sam's Club strongly preferred
Deep understanding of retail operations across multiple merchandise categories, including hardlines and softlines; licensing experience is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence both internal teams and external partners
Excellent presentation and analytical capabilities
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and retail accounts in a fast-paced environment
Collaborative team player with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels, including senior leadership
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Demonstrates a growth mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
