Quality Control Supervisor
Weckworth Mfg., Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the Quality Assurance Director in maintaining and improving Quality Systems. The role involves supervising Quality inspectors, handling customer returns, and ensuring product quality standards are met in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities
Supervise Quality inspectors, work with production to meet deadlines, handle customer returns and perform other duties as assigned by Quality Director
Serve as the “Second in Command” with the Quality Organization providing leadership and support for the four key pillars of our Quality Program: 1.) Quality Systems, 2.) Inspection of finished goods, 3.) New Product Development Launch Process, 4.) OTD/Safety
Serve as the SOP Administrator for creating, revising or removing Standard Operating Procedures from our environment
Investigate & determine root causes out of specification product and customer complaints and recommend corrective measures
Coordinate with the audit team and vendor to implement corrective action. Maintain a historical record of all customer complaints and corrective action and report all findings to the Director
Supervise the team of Quality Assurance Inspectors ensuring product is being tested based on the appropriate Analytical Method and report issues timely and accurately. This work supports ongoing Production as well as new product qualifications
Coordinate the activities of any outside Analytical Laboratories including providing samples, defining the specific tests to be conducted, reviewing the laboratory reports, and communicating the test results internally regarding whether the material passed or failed to meet the acceptance criteria
Maintain consistent quality standards for manufacturing to meet customer needs
Performance management of Quality Department
Manage customer returns
Utilize the following basic quality tools: flow charts, check sheets, cause and effect diagrams, graphs, and control charts to ensure data collection is valid, accurate and meaningful and utilized as the basis for recommendations
Provide feedback to manufacturing personnel based on customer comments, internal and external measurement status, and audit results
Other duties assigned by the Director of Quality
Qualification
Required
Experienced in blueprint reading (There will be a test upon interviewing)
Knowledge of GD&T
Quality Management experience required
Knowledge of regulatory requirements. ISO9001 & AS9100
Minimum of five years of progressive responsible in quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Results driven with a record of accomplishments
Continuous Improvement experience
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Ability to work with traditional quality tools & methodology
Results oriented with a record of accomplishments
Ability to response to common inquiries from customers
Effective time management and attention to detail accuracy
