Sales Development Associate
Standard Electric Supply Co. is a family-owned company that has been providing electrical and automation supplies for 105 years. The Sales Development Associate will be responsible for seeking and qualifying prospects, building strong relationships with customers, and utilizing CRM tools to manage leads effectively, with the ultimate goal of becoming a successful account manager.

Responsibilities
Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects / customers to meet or exceed sales goals set by direction of sales
Develop knowledge of electrical products and value-added services that set us apart from the competition
Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products and services
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market through outbound follow-up
Research products and customers to identify how our solutions meet their needs
Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and rekindling relationships at underservices accounts to create new sales
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver's License and personal transportation required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
Knowledge in the wholesale distribution industry
