InternStock Yards Bancorp, Inc. is the parent company of Stock Yards Bank & Trust Company, and they are seeking a Wealth Management & Trust Intern - Investment Associate. The intern will perform various duties under supervision, assisting Trust Investment Advisors and supporting compliance with regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
Supports the mission, vision and philosophy of the Bank. Complies willingly with all organizational policies and procedures
Supports all functions that maintain compliance with regulatory agencies
Provide assistance to Trust Investment Advisors, Trust Client Service Associates, and other WM&T employees as needed
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School or GED Equivalent
Employees are expected to represent Stock Yards Bank & Trust in a professional manner to customers and outside contacts
Employees should possess strong interpersonal communication skills, consisting of the ability to write and speak effectively to others
Ability to foster teamwork and motivate colleagues
Client-centered focus with strategic thinking ability
Basic knowledge of a broad range of estate and trust concepts
Proficient in Microsoft Office products
Must be self-motivated, dependable, and timely
Demonstrate initiative and active listening skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent grammar, spelling and business writing skills
Excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize and organize heavy volumes of work in a multi-task environment

Must be highly detail oriented
Strong MS Office skills including, but not limited to: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook required
