Responsibilities
Independently configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Epic and related applications
Collaborating with business and IT teams to analyze workflows, resolve complex issues, and implement system improvements
Managing the configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of assigned Epic modules
Troubleshooting and resolving complex application issues, documenting solutions, and sharing lessons learned with colleagues
Analyzing workflows, recommending improvements, and implementing changes that support both efficiency and best practice standards
Coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet operational needs and compliance standards
Developing and delivering end-user training on new features or workflow adjustments
Contributing to Epic project teams, ensuring system enhancements are aligned with organizational objectives
Dealing with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations
Dealing with a variety of people, stressful situations, and handling conflict
Performing all job duties or job tasks as assigned
Following and adhering to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency
Complying with all Benefis Health System’s organization policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Information Technology, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in healthcare IT, business systems support, or business operations
Experience configuring, implementing, and supporting associated Epic modules required
In-depth understanding of Epic applications, business workflows, system configuration, and end-user technologies
Current Epic certification(s) in one or more modules required or must be obtained within three (3) months of assignment
Strong communication, problem solving, and collaboration skills
Commitment to maintaining certifications and ongoing professional development
Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively
Exhibit professionalism, adaptability, and a commitment to service excellence
