Tom Wood Automotive is offering a High School Auto Technician Intern Program designed to provide students with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. Responsibilities
Learn to use diagnostic tools and equipment under supervision to identify vehicle issues
Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhering to safety standards
Support the service team in managing parts inventory and customer service interactions
Document work performed and communicate findings to mentors and team members
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in high school, the Pursuit Institute, interest in automotive technology or related fields
Basic understanding of automotive systems and components or willingness to learn
Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team setting
Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred
Familiarity with common hand tools and automotive equipment
Basic knowledge of safety procedures in a workshop environment
Good communication skills and customer service orientation
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
