Responsibilities
Supporting the control room for transmission operations at BGE
Support the control room for distribution operations at BGE and PHI
Supporting enterprise level datacenters using HPE, Dell, Cisco MDS, and Netapp storage
Refreshing storage infrastructure
Refreshing server hardware for multiple utility projects
Refreshing workstations for Real-time systems
Qualification
Required
At least 2 years of experience supporting IT systems at a medium to large company
Comfortable with imaging Windows workstations
Supporting the Windows OS
Troubleshooting desktop/server hardware failures
Strong communication skills when talking to technical leads, management, and control room operators
Familiar with tcp/ip networking
Domain administration
IT change management
Familiar with latest generations of server and desktop hardware
Strong communication skills to interface with the business in control rooms
Reliable transportation to travel between sites
