Start in 2026 SummerBoulay is seeking a Valuation Intern to join their Transaction Advisory team, where they provide valuation, due-diligence, and transaction consulting expertise. The intern will assist with client research, financial modeling, and developing reports to support informed decision-making for clients.

Responsibilities
Research various clients, industries, economic trends, markets and competitors
Conduct financial analysis and build financial models for a variety of purposes (e.g. transactions, enterprise valuations, equity and debt securities valuations, purchase price allocations, intellectual property valuations, stock option valuations, etc.)
Apply valuation approaches and methods, including discounted cash flow analyses and analyses of market valuation multiples
Develop detailed financial models with income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow forecasts for a variety of valuation and consulting purposes
Write business valuation reports and proposals with information gathered through research and financial analysis
Present findings both internally to BTG team and to current or future clients
Additional special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3.0 GPA and a solid track record of academic achievements
Completion of introduction accounting and intermediate accounting one courses
Detail oriented with sound organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook
Exemplary communication (oral and written)
Motivated to creatively serve clients
Desire to be a team player
Preferred
Pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, preferred, or finance, will be considered
Finance majors with a minor in accounting will be considered
