Project Manager, Facilities
Piedmont Airlines is seeking a motivated and reliable leader to join their Ground Handling Department as a Project Manager, Facilities. The primary responsibility of this role is to serve as a liaison with the American Airlines corporate real estate team and manage multiple projects, ensuring they are completed according to approved standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee projects, vendors, contractors, and facility staff
Ensure building codes and regulations are met, including maintaining proper documentation
Keep company goals and customer expectations in mind
Administrative duties, which may include daily/weekly/monthly reports
Develop project scope and associated documents
Prepare requests for bid/proposals
Prepare internal funding and procurement documents
Develop project estimates, budgets, and schedules
Manage projects to established budgets and schedules from Notice-to-Proceed to Project Closeout
Evaluate and select outside consultants, contractors, and vendors
Manage oversight of multiple outside consultants, contractors, and vendors
Work with multiple user groups and internal departments to establish project scope/definition documents
Provide written and verbal project status updates
Work with multiple user groups and internal departments to establish project program
Qualification
Required
General construction knowledge
Previous management experience
Three (3) years of experience in project management
Ability to work well with all levels of management, support staff, and outside vendors
Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required
Proof of high school or GED completion
Minimum 18 years of age
Preferred
Working knowledge of Airport Operations Area environment
Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in design, planning, development, and management of airport facility construction projects
Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10 certification
Advanced time management and analytical skills
Major building construction experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
