Inventory Analyst
Vaco by Highspring is a growing manufacturing company in the RTP area, and they are seeking a Sr. Inventory Associate. This key role will support the accuracy, movement, and visibility of materials and finished products across internal and third-party locations.
Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods
Lead and support regular cycle counts, reconciliations, and audits
Track inbound and outbound inventory activity, including transfers, returns, and adjustments
Partner with external logistics and production vendors to ensure inventory alignment and timely reporting
Contribute to inventory-related documentation for audits, reviews, and quality assurance processes
Assist with root cause analysis and resolution of service gaps, shortages, or data mismatches
Help improve workflows and support system cleanups and transitions
Provide routine inventory metrics to inform planning and reporting needs
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in inventory, supply, or logistics in a production or distribution setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
Familiarity with working alongside finance, QA, and technical teams
Prior experience with inventory systems and hands-on transaction management
Strong Excel skills a must
Ability to spot trends and inconsistencies in data and follow through on investigations
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple streams of work in a regulated setting
