Responsibilities

Develop and implement supplier quality plans and procedures
Conduct audits and assessments of supplier’s processes
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Analyze data and identify trends to improve supplier quality
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with the team to address quality problems created by the suppliers
APQP representative for supplier issues
Prepares detailed presentations and analyses data to objectively present complex information in a professional matter
Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to understand, develop and optimize materials from various applications
Collaborates with Procurement Department for Suppliers development
Leads the preparation of Suppliers Quality Agreements
Identifies opportunities for cost recovery related to supplier-caused issues impacting our processes
Collaborating with Procurement Department in creating Supplier agreements
Managing supplier PPAPs
Responsible for the incoming inspection process at the site
Leads the preparation of supplier rates and supports suppliers in improvement activities to increase performance as needed
Performs all other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering
Experience in quality engineering, supplier management and problem-solving
5 years of experience in automotive or aerospace manufacturing/assembly operations, quality, Compliance preferably in Aerospace and Defense
Ability to understand and implement standards
Very strong negotiation and argumentation skills
Excellent proven problem-solving skills, systemic approach mindset, detail-oriented use of structured problem-solving approach – Ishikawa, 3 legs 5 whys
Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to work on multiple projects in parallel
APQP, SPC, MSA, 8D Problem Solving, PFMEAs, Control Plans and PPAPs experience or very high level of knowledge
Material science / Metallurgy experience
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel and Microsoft package
Exceptional level of commitment, independence and leadership skills
Fostering Teamwork & Diversity: a high level of interpersonal skills is required to handle difficult situations as well as to diffuse interpersonal conflict effectively
