Kforce Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Functional QA Engineer to join their Quality Assurance team. This role involves manual functional testing, API validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and business logic
Design and execute manual functional test cases based on user stories, requirements, and design documents
Perform API testing using Postman, validating request/response accuracy, status codes, error handling, and performance
Write and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform backend testing
Identify, document, and track bugs in a clear and concise manner using tools such as JIRA
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
Contribute to the QA process by suggesting improvements in test strategy and coverage
Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation and regression test suites
