Responsibilities
Oversee and manage complex financial models used for aircraft and lease valuation, portfolio management and credit risk analysis
Work closely with the origination team to evaluate potential investment opportunities and negotiate transactions
Research and evaluate new investment opportunities within aviation and thoroughly determine feasibility for capital deployment
Oversee transaction approval recommendations for investment committees
Support counsel to review legal documentation
Oversee drafting of marketing materials to support new business origination
Manage aviation investments and recommend value-enhancing strategies
Work with 3rd party vendors pre and post transaction closing
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree required in addition to 5 years' experience in aviation with an aircraft lessor, or other aviation financier
Solid understanding of commercial aircraft types and values
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Bloomberg Terminal
Strong financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills
Experience with aircraft lease underwriting and loan facility structuring
Strong understanding of airline financial statements and credit analysis
Able to read and interpret legal documents and understand the business implications of provisions
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and manage high-priority projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong administrative and project management skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral
Detail orientated and self-motivated
Team player and flexible; willing to perform tasks necessary to achieve common goals
Flexibility for travel as needed
