$230K/yr - $230K/yrGenesis Partners – Executive Search is partnering with a high-growth, operator-led platform in the CPG and consumer space to identify a senior accounting leader to own and scale the accounting function during the next phase of growth. This leader will be responsible for end-to-end accounting oversight, financial close, controls, and team leadership across multiple brands or entities.

Responsibilities
Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Lead and develop an accounting team, setting standards and accountability
Oversee technical accounting, revenue recognition, inventory, and cost accounting
Partner with FP&A and leadership on reporting, forecasting support, and insights
Manage NetSuite environment and drive system optimization
Ensure strong internal controls, audit readiness, and process scalability
Support growth initiatives including new brands, SKUs, channels, and integrations
Qualification
Required
Senior accounting leadership experience at the Controller or VP Accounting level
Deep experience in CPG, e-commerce, wellness, or beauty brands
Strong NetSuite exposure, implementation or heavy operational use
Comfort operating in high-growth, evolving environments
Ability to balance hands-on execution with team leadership
Preferred
Multi-entity or multi-brand complexity
Experience supporting PE-backed or founder-led organizations
Prior audit or technical accounting foundation
