Responsibilities
Sustainability Reporting: Lead the collection and analysis of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions data using frameworks like the GHG Protocol
Impact Assessment: Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) on products and equipment to identify opportunities for energy and waste reduction
Compliance & Risk: Ensure all sustainability activities adhere to ESG reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
Data Integrity: Apply ALCOA+ principles to environmental data to ensure "Green Claims" are auditable and accurate
Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to implement "Lean and Green" initiatives that improve operational efficiency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field
0–5 years of experience in a regulated industry (Pharma/MedTech) or academic projects involving data analysis or environmental auditing
Proficiency in Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel)
Understanding of the V-Model and how it applies to validating environmental monitoring systems
Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 regarding electronic records for compliance reporting
Familiarity with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems)
Preferred
Experience with Minitab or other statistical tools for Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Knowledge of LIMS or MES systems for tracking resource consumption
Certification in LEED, ISSB, or GHG Protocol is a plus
