Project Manager (Squad Lead) (Only USC-GC-W2)
Ampstek is seeking an IT Squad Lead to manage agile teams and drive the adoption of agile methodologies. The role involves coaching teams, promoting collaboration, and ensuring continuous improvement in project delivery.
Responsibilities
Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders
Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
Experience driving adoption of Agile methodologies, processes, and tools in a cross-functional organization
Demonstrated experience with continuous integration/delivery
Participation in scaled agile frameworks
Qualification
Required
4+ years of relevant work experience in an agile environment
Experience coaching agile methodologies to team and stakeholders
Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
Proven ability to promote a team environment and collaborate cross-functionally
Infrastructure Knowledge: Basic understanding of key infrastructure concepts, including virtualization, cloud platforms, networking, and IT operations
Performance Metrics: Proficient in tracking and reporting on critical metrics such as system uptime, mean time to recovery (MTTR), deployment frequency, and incident resolution times
Work Item Management Tools: Experience using Azure DevOps Boards for organizing and managing teamwork items
ServiceNow Proficiency: Familiarity with ServiceNow for managing workflows and operational tasks
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization
Preferred
Experience driving adoption of Agile methodologies, processes, and tools in a cross-functional organization
Superior analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Demonstrated experience with continuous integration/delivery
Participation in scaled agile frameworks
Scrum Master Expertise: Hold a recognized Scrum certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, or SSM) and demonstrate strong experience in using Agile frameworks to manage work queues and adapt to unpredictable tasks
ITIL Certification (Preferred): ITIL 4 Certification is highly desirable to ensure alignment with IT service management best practices
