$22/hr - $25/hrKforce Inc is seeking an Accountant I - Field Operations Support to join their team in Greenwood Village, CO. This role focuses on Damage Claim Recoveries, reconciliations, and operational accounting support within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Process and record recovery payments from third-party suppliers, including daily lockbox check deposits and monthly wire transfers
Reconcile payments received to ensure accuracy of recovered amounts and supplier fees
Reconcile invoices and support month-end close activities
Produce monthly damage claim reconciliation and reporting
Submit and track AR and appropriation requests, including budget tracking and approval routing
Support tool and testing orders by working with Supply Chain to purchase and ship equipment
Maintain and update order tracking in Smartsheet
Prepare recurring construction status reports for executive leadership
Pull data from internal systems and load into Excel for reporting and analysis
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of CapEx vs. OpEx
Solid accounting foundation, including accruals
Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience with Essbase
Exposure to SAP, Business Objects, or Ariba
Purchase Order (PO) experience
Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar tracking tools
