Responsibilities

Provides timely, professional, and compassionate assistance to team members regarding human resources questions, concerns, and workplace issues
Serves as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters including investigations, coaching, conflict resolution, performance concerns, and corrective action
Partners closely with managers and department leaders to provide guidance on employment matters, policy interpretation, and best practices
Oversee FMLA, personal leaves of absence, and workers’ compensation, ensuring compliance and timely follow-up
Coordinates and conducts onboarding and new hire orientation, creating a welcoming and engaging first impression
Supports recruiting efforts including interviews and hiring processes as needed
Assists team members with benefits questions, enrollment guidance, and coordination with vendors
Ensures overall HR compliance by maintaining accurate employee records, files, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
Assists with audits related to benefits, HR programs, compliance, and internal processes
Contributes to the development and maintenance of HR manuals, policies, procedures, training materials, and employee handbooks
Prepares and assists with HR related correspondence and communications
Participates in special projects and initiatives that support team member engagement, culture, and operational excellence
Performs additional duties as assigned by the Director of Human Resources

Required

5-7 years of experience in Human Resources with a specialty in Recruiting, Onboarding & Employee Relations
Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Positive, outgoing attitude with a genuine love for hospitality and guest interaction
Familiarity working in a hospitality environment
Strong communication skills for interacting with team members, and internal teams
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy
Highly organized, punctual, and detail-oriented
