Responsibilities
Lead on-site construction activities with primary responsibility for MEP scopes
Coordinate electrical, mechanical, fire protection, controls, and low-voltage trades
Oversee installation of critical systems including switchgear, UPS, generators, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, and cooling plants
Drive MEP sequencing, zone turnovers, and commissioning readiness
Enforce strict safety standards across high-risk electrical and mechanical work
Maintain short-interval schedules, daily field reports, and MEP progress tracking
Coordinate inspections, testing, and AHJ approvals related to MEP systems
Resolve field conflicts involving MEP routing, equipment placement, and system integration
Partner closely with commissioning agents and project leadership during startup and turnover
Communicate MEP progress, risks, and milestones to project leadership
Qualification
Required
5+ years of Superintendent experience with strong MEP leadership responsibilities
Proven experience managing MEP-intensive projects with complex systems
Strong understanding of electrical distribution, mechanical cooling systems, and life safety
Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings, coordination models, and specifications
Willingness and ability to travel nationwide on rotation-based assignments
Preferred
Prior data center or mission-critical project experience strongly preferred
