Early Intervention Service Supervisor

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services is one of the largest agencies in the state, responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of North Carolinians. They are seeking an Early Intervention Service Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative supervision for staff serving children in the NC Infant-Toddler Program, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and administrative supervision, guidance, technical assistance, and support for the ITP Service Coordinators and other CDSA personnel
Hire and train direct-service CDSA staff, coach staff, and complete work performance evaluations
Ensure EISC and clinician compliance with State and Federal regulations for the Infant/Toddler Program
Supervise operations in the Pinehurst office of the Sandhills CDSA
Train/collaborate with other public and private providers of early intervention services
Participate as a member of the CDSA Management Team in long-range planning, policy and procedure development, and budget management

Required

Master's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of professional developmental disability or infant and child mental health experience preferably including administrative/supervisor experience; or
Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of professional developmental disability or infant and child mental health experience, preferably including one year of administrative experience; or
an equivalent combination of education and experience

Typical child development, developmental delays/disabilities, and established conditions used to support program eligibility
Working with regulations, policies, evidence-based practices and techniques applicable to the NC Infant-Toddler Program
Planning, developing, directing, and evaluating Infant-Toddler services
Medicaid service definitions and documentation requirements
Coordinating and instruct staff, family members, and providers in methods and techniques utilized in Early Intervention
