Responsibilities
Own sourcing strategies for assigned product categories, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and reliability
Lead supplier and distributor negotiations, including contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements
Manage inventory levels across distribution points to balance availability and minimize excess
Monitor supplier performance metrics (delivery, quality, cost) and address issues proactively
Identify and execute cost-saving initiatives through negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements
Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate supply disruptions
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and leadership on forecasting and planning
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and ethical sourcing practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or purchasing
Proven success in vendor management, contract negotiation, and cost optimization
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends and drive improvements
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
Preferred
Experience within food, beverage, or perishable goods environments strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred
