Senior Scientist, Engineering
Merck is seeking a Senior Project Scientist / Engineer to support late-stage product development and global manufacturing within the Center for Materials Science & Engineering. Responsibilities
Apply engineering science, materials science, and related physical-chemistry to support late-stage product development and global manufacturing
Represent the CMSE on global manufacturing project teams
Lead new product filings
Provide consulting and laboratory analyses of materials
Conduct scaled-down process experimentation
Understand the relationship between material structure, function, and processing across a wide range of product formulation and process scenarios
Seek deep niche expertise and technology development
Strengthen the CMSE
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in chemical or materials engineering or (bio)pharmaceutical sciences or related discipline
Experimental research
Published in peer-reviewed journal(s)
